Information is used to provide quotations, process orders, verify payments, arrange deliveries and installations, maintain warranties, prevent fraud, respond to enquiries, meet legal obligations and improve services. Marketing messages are sent only where a lawful basis exists and customers are given an appropriate opt-out.

Information may be shared as necessary with payment providers, couriers, suppliers, installers, IT and hosting providers, professional advisers and public authorities where legally required. Lumetra will require appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards from service providers.

Information is retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose, legal obligations, disputes and legitimate records management. Lumetra uses proportionate access controls, secure systems and staff procedures; no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Individuals may exercise applicable rights to access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and other rights under Kenyan data-protection law, subject to lawful exceptions. Privacy requests should be submitted through the Contact page. Lumetra will verify identity appropriately and respond within applicable legal periods.

Where information is processed outside Kenya, Lumetra will apply the safeguards required by law. Material privacy changes will be reflected in an updated notice and, where required, separately communicated.

The website is not directed to children. Lumetra does not intentionally solicit children’s personal information and will take appropriate steps if it becomes aware that such information was collected without the required authorization.
