Manufacturer warranties
Products may carry manufacturer warranties with different periods, conditions and exclusions. Lumetra will provide available warranty documents or a reliable reference at sale and assist customers with claims for goods supplied by Lumetra. A manufacturer warranty supplements rather than replaces statutory rights.
Workmanship
Unless a signed quotation specifies a longer period, Lumetra offers a six-month workmanship warranty on installation services performed by its appointed teams, starting from documented practical completion. The warranty covers defects attributable to improper installation or workmanship, subject to inspection and applicable law.
Exclusions and causation
Normal wear, misuse, impact damage, unsuitable cleaning chemicals, inadequate maintenance, unauthorized modifications, third-party work and structural movement are not ordinarily covered where they caused the problem. Exclusions will not be applied to avoid responsibility for a defect attributable to Lumetra or where prohibited by law.
Making a claim
Provide the invoice or order number, installation location, photographs and a description of the fault. Lumetra may inspect before determining the appropriate remedy and will provide a written response and reasonable plan for rectification. Emergency safety concerns should be reported immediately and the affected product taken out of use where safe to do so.
